Consolatrix College joins the culmination of Nutrition Month

The morning began with a communal worship led by the ARSC officers. Emcees Sammy Taboada and Ugena Fay Pahaganas then welcomed the Consolatricians, followed by an opening message from TLE coordinator Mrs. Monchyll B. Bacalso, who thanked the teachers, club members, and judges involved in the event. A Zumba session led by the BPED students energized the crowd and promoted physical activity.

Students from the elementary, junior high school, and senior high school departments participated in the NutriKaalaman Quiz, which tested their knowledge of health and nutrition. The quiz was followed by the presentation of TikTok video outputs created by senior high school students, showcasing creative messages about food and nutrition security.

The panel of judges was recognized before the announcement of winners.

After the awarding, students from all departments showcased their Wellness Dance Presentations. Each performance promoted physical activity through creative movement, with representatives from Grades 4-6, junior high school levels, and senior high school strands. The program concluded with Agape–a communal meal shared in each classroom to highlight healthy eating and the value of sharing nutritious, locally sourced food.

The Nutrition Month event helped students learn more about healthy eating and staying active. Through the different activities, Consolatricians were reminded that nutrition is important and that everyon deserves access to healthy, nutritious food.
